Full Member & Professional Membership (Grade 2)

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER GRADE 2 : 1 AKA Full Member :

A Full Member of PMZ is a person who possesses the necessary qualifications and industry experience specified by PMZ.

 

Requirements:

Any 4 year Bachelors Degree at NQF 6, PLUS a minimum of 3 years industry / management experience.

OR:

Advanced level or other Certificate at NQF 4 PLUS a minimum of 5 years approved industry / management experience.

FULL Members must demonstrate their commitment to the project management profession by signing the Professional Code of Ethics. They undertake to participate actively in a programme of sustainable professional career development and to participate in the affairs of PMZ . Members are eligible to vote at annual elections, annual general meetings and extraordinary general meetings. Use the post nominal Member PMZ (M.PMZ)

A once-of grading fee of US$20.00 is applicable to first-time applicants or those applying for a higher grade. Membership is renewable annually.

 

Professional Member : GRADE 2 : 2
A Professional Member is a Full Member in good standing who has achieved and sustains Professional Status through PMZ`s Professional Project Management Registration, aligned with international certification processes, such as the PMP® from PMI®, which will encompass the requirements of the emerging Project Management Recognition Council or equivalent (in progress). Members must demonstrate their commitment to the project management profession by signing the Professional Code of Ethics. Professional members are eligible to vote at annual elections, annual general meetings and extraordinary general meetings. Use post-nominal Professional Member PMZ (PM.PMZ).

 

Fellow/HONORARY MEMBERS
A Fellow OR HONORARY MEMBER is a person who has such wide knowledge and experience of the principles and practices of project management sufficient to qualify him/her to become a Fellow. This is not a member grade but an honorary lifetime Award GIVEN BY THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD to distinguished citizens and outstanding stakeholders. Fellows are eligible to vote at annual elections, annual general meetings and extraordinary general meetings.

Use post nominal letters Fellow PMZ (F.PMZ). Membership fees are paid by the PMZ.
